We've had over 150 posts on Mapawatt since February and we're thankful for all the readers and hopefully some of you have learned to save energy and live a little more sustainably!  If you like what you've been reading, please subscribe to Mapawatt's feed to stay updated when new content is added.

Below are the Top Ten posts on Mapawatt over the last 3 months.

.) Magniwork - This is by far the most popular post on the blog.  The reason for this is that we were one of the first ones out there to reveal these scammers.  They claim you can buy this device and produce free energy (they even mention perpetual motion).  Don't fall for stupid scams like this.  If you see something related to energy or water conservation and it sounds too good to be true, send an email to info@mapawatt.com and ask us!

.) TED 5000 - The TED 5000 is one of the best energy monitoring devices on the market and Mapawatt is the second hit on Google for this topic!  Check out how I installed mine by clicking on this link.

.) What is a kWh? - The Watt and kilowatt-hour are the most fundamental concepts in energy conservation.  If you cant grasp the kWh, you are at a disadvantage.  There is even a handy kWh calculator included.

.) Bicycle Power - I have been surprised how popular my post on producing power on a bicycle has been.  It's good to understand this to get an idea of the scale of power production.  For instance, it would take about 6.5 million cyclists in excellent condition on power generating bicycles to produce as much power at a 2 GW nuclear plant.

.) Honeywell Wind Turbine - The Honeywell EarthTronics wind turbine has great potential for lower cost residential wind power, but there have been some questions on the blog comments on the accuracy of the power data the manufacturer claims the turbine can produce.  I'd love to see one of these in action and see how it performs.  Has anyone tried one out yet?

.) How much electricity does my AC consume - I think the reason this post has been so popular is that it is so hard to find this information out.  We know that air conditioning consumes so much energy, but it's hard to figure out how much.  I try to explain that in this post.

.) List of Energy monitoring tools - Energy monitoring is one of the most important energy conservation steps out there.  It has only been in the last few years that residential energy monitoring has become economical.  This list highlights all the companies we're aware of in this market that is growing like crazy.  Are there any we've left off?

.) Renewable Energy Scams -  My Magniwork post is so popular, I realized there was a need to highlight other renewable energy scams.  I've listed all that I know of.  Basically, if you see something that sounds too good to be true.....

.) TED 5000 iPhone App - While there is no official TED 5000 iphone app, there is one that works pretty well made by Brent Halsey.  While it's not an app, I can check my TED 5000 from anywhere using the Google PowerMeter with my iPhone using the web server.

.) Lighting Cost Comparison - I feel this is the best lighting cost comparison for residential customers who want to compare incandescent vs. CFL vs. LED.  Ok, I'm biased, but I still believe it!
