This post is me venting. If you're fine and dandy being led around by dunces then please stop reading.
I'm fed up with society being tarnished by those who are only out to make a buck at the expense of their surroundings.
2009 was a good year for Mapawatt blog. This blog was born in the middle of February of 2009, and in less than a year we have already:
50 posts down, 1 million to go!
Thanks for reading Mapawatt Blog. As you know, we are a relatively young blog but we're working hard to expand our readership and sphere of influence. We firmly believe that the only way America is going to realize the need for a new Energy infrastructure is through education. We also believe we are one of the best resources on the web to provide that education.
Last night I gave a talk at Georgia Tech focused on energy conservation for the group Wasted Watts. After my spiel, one of the questions was, "When do you see America embracing sustainable principles?".
So I'm going to try keep this list short, but it will be hard! While there are a TON of books out there in regards to being "green", this list is focused on books that can directly inspire the individual to be more sustainably minded in their everyday activities.
