From the Skystream 3.7 website:
"Designed for homes and businesses, the Skystream 3.7 paved the way as the first compact, all-inclusive personal wind generator (with controls and inverter built in) designed to work in very low winds."
Before you jump in and decide on a wind turbine, there are two thing you should do first:
- Make sure you have enough wind at the spot you are going to put the wind turbine. You do this by using an anemometer.
- Make sure a wind turbine is the best available option for clean energy, as solar panels may provide a better energy bang for your buck. See our blog post on solar vs. wind to get more info.
